Privacy & Cookies
What we collect, and why
No advertising cookies. No hidden newsletter signup. Quote and Project Brief details stay inside the service unless you explicitly ask us to consider an introduction. Last updated 31 August 2026.
Who runs this site
Greenhouse Guide is operated by AC0 AI, S.L.U. (NIF B26808741), the data controller for anything described here. Full registered details are on the Aviso Legal page. Questions, or to exercise any of your rights below, email david@greenhouses.guide.
Site analytics
We use PostHog to record a small set of explicit events, such as a guide view, a tool completion, or a successful form submission. Anonymous browsing is configured with memory-only persistence, no session recording, and no automatic click or form capture. Our site does not store a PostHog browser identifier between visits.
If you deliberately request the buyer's pack, we may associate that conversion with the email you supplied so we can tell which signup path worked. Quote-review and Project Brief forms are excluded from form capture, and we do not send their free text, files, exact budgets, or email fields to client-side analytics.
Information you send us
- Buyer's pack: your email and signup context go to Plunk so it can deliver the three requested emails and manage unsubscribe status. This is the only form that joins the email list.
- Quote review: your email, pasted quote, file name, and page context are stored in Turso. If you upload a file, the file itself is attached to the Plunk email sent to David for review. A quote review does not subscribe you to the buyer's pack.
- Premium Project Brief: the project answers and calculated result may be stored in Turso. Your email is added only when you ask for delivery. Asking for a human-reviewed introduction is a separate checkbox, records the fields you selected, and only alerts Greenhouse Guide internally. Nothing is sent automatically to a manufacturer or installer.
- Remote Quote X-Ray connector: the quote text you provide is sent to Greenhouse Guide for transient processing and is not persisted by the application, written to quote analytics, emailed, or turned into a lead. The result does not repeat the quote text. For abuse protection, the application keeps a request count, bucket timestamp, and process-local keyed network fingerprint in bounded process memory. Expired entries are removed on a later request or when the process restarts; they contain no raw IP address or quote text. Remove contact, job-address, payment, and unrelated confidential details before use. Normal hosting and security infrastructure still processes request metadata such as an IP address. Your AI assistant or MCP client may retain the text under its own terms, so use the browser Quote X-Ray if the text must stay local.
- Direct email: if you contact us, we use what you send to answer and handle the request.
Service providers
- Vercel hosts the site and supplies aggregate performance analytics.
- PostHog supplies product analytics through our
/ingestproxy. - Plunk delivers requested emails and operational notifications.
- Turso stores quote-review and Project Brief records.
- Google Search Console supplies aggregate search-performance data collected by Google.
These providers process data for us under their own security and data-processing terms. Some processing may occur outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards offered by the relevant provider. We do not sell personal data or share it with advertising networks.
Legal basis, retention, and partner sharing
We use consent to send the buyer's pack and for any partner introduction you explicitly request. We process quote reviews, Project Brief delivery, and direct enquiries to provide the service you asked for. Limited operational analytics and service security are based on our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.
We keep records only while they are useful for the requested service, legal obligations, troubleshooting, or preventing repeat email after an unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete or anonymize a quote or Project Brief, and you can revoke introduction consent before any handoff. A provider receives only the fields you approved, and only after human review.
Cookies and browser storage
Greenhouse Guide does not set advertising cookies or use analytics storage to recognize anonymous visitors between sessions. Essential infrastructure may process normal request data, such as an IP address and user agent, to deliver and secure the site. Blocking browser storage does not stop the editorial site from working.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Email david@greenhouses.guide. You may also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Changes
We update this page when the service or its providers change. The current date at the top tells you which version applies. The related service limits are in the Terms of Use.
